We had lunch there today and the queso was like milk. It had chunks of unmelted cheese in it and we asked for another batch but we were given the same container after it had been microwaved and it was still quite thin and runny, to the point it wouldn't stay on the chips. I had The General and was very pleased w/ that, however. The queso is the worst I've ever had. They've either changed their recipe or changed cooks. On previous visits the queso has been great but this time it was not.

Please disregard Tivon W.'s review. I was sitting beside these 'children' who were extremely rude to the staff. One guy in their group didn't even pay his bill. Our waiter is wonderful, and it's sad that these kids ripped him off by dining and ditching. Absolutely uncalled for. 3 amigos is a wonderful restaurant with great service. We eat here often. We are always attended to quickly, the food is great and portion sizes are generous.

I was ripped off, I ordered two cups of queso and was charged $7.95 each, overpriced for little given and mediocre service and food. They gave us minimal food for what I expected, overall it was a horrible experience and I don't wish it on my worst enemy.

John was awesome, very friendly and sociable but the food.... it kinda sucked.
And yes, I'm aware I'm spoiled. I live in a state with 15 million Hispanic folks and I've gotten accustomed to some pretty remarkable Mexican food. But when you order a burrito and it comes out covered in a Bechemel-style cheese sauce sauce you know there's just no hope.
